This was a good buy. My issue with the original wood AK stock was that it was way too short with no adjustability. This stock resolved all those issues and adds side fold capability. Installation was pretty straight forward and magpul provides good instructions. You can also look on youtube for some good install videos before you buy to know what you are getting into. Only downside is it is a bit heavier than the original wood stock because it is built like a tank. It is a rugged design and I bet that it will last through a lot of use and abuse. Definitely was a worthwhile investment.
