Installed this on a WASR-10. Do yourself a favor and watch the youtube video which is linked on this items page. It took me about 20 minutes and only tool I used was a small sharp file to work the little hole in the back of the mount. I then set it up with a Hi-Lux red dot sight sitting really low and it's working out great
