Replaces original top receiver cover on rifle. Will fit most AK47, Mak90, Saiga 7.62x39mm rifles with a standard Military top receiver cover. Stabilizer design includes 2 set screws to ensure no movement of scope mount. Total of 3 Picatinny type mounting rails allow for mounting just about any scope, red dot, laser, tac- light and other accessories. The side rails are each about 1" long and can be positioned on various positions along the sides. This item has just been redesigned to allow for a wider channel so the iron sights on your rifle can still be used when this mount is installed.
   
    * This item is NOT a drop-in installation !
    * Fits Russian spec AKM pattern rifles with a stamped receiver and correct Mil-Spec dimensions in the location where the top cover mounts
    * Note that many Ak rifles have inconsistent manufacturing dimensions and tolerances which can hinder the installation of an aftermarket accessory like this
    * Only fits rifles with the following calibers 7.62X39, 5.54X39, .223
    * Does NOT fit shotgun calibers
    * Will fit Mak90 rifles "ONLY" if they have correct Mil-Spec dimensions
    * Does NOT fit Yugo rifles
    * Does NOT fit any Zastava
    * Does NOT fit the M70 series
    * Does NOT fit the Draco
    * Does NOT fit milled receivers
    * Note that filing and fitting will be requires on the dust cover mount to achieve a nice tight custom fit
