- Hole in the rear of pad allows access to the trap door on the buttstock of rifle
- Adds approximately 1 inch which helps improve length of pull of the rifle
- Synthetic rubber material softens felt recoil

To install first remove the screws from your original metal buttplate. Now place the recoil pad over the metal buttplate. Align the holes of the buttpad, metal buttplate and stock and install using the original screws which will attach everything together ( buttpad, metal buttplate, stock ) . Do not over tighten the buttplate screws and this could cause damage to the internal bushings.
