AIM Tactical Trirail Scope Mount System For AK47 MAK90

  • Features: Made by AIM Sports
  • Material: Aluminum
  • Color: Black
  • Weight: 10 ounces
This mount will fit most 7.62x39mm AK-47, Mak-90 and Saiga rifle with a standard Military top receiver cover. Does not fit rifles with underfolding or side folding stocks. This all new design is much sturdier than previous models and eliminates the wobble and play that is common on lesser quality AK mounts. This mount also allows you to clean your rifle without losing zero on your scope. When cleaning your rifle, just remove the rear trunion screw and then pivot the mount forward. Proceed to clean your rifle and reinstall the rear trunion screw when your finished.

Trirail design allows for mounting various tactical accessories like scopes, flashlights and lasers. The side rails are Weaver style and about 1" long. They can be Positioned on various locations along the sides. Top rail is 5-1/4" long giving plenty of room to adjust your optics for the perfect eye relief. See-through design allows you to still use your iron sights. Also note that the trirail can be unbolted and removed from the mount. This will leave behind a long low profile single rail that can be used for installations where the scope position needs to be as low as possible. Installation requires no permanent modifications be made to your rifle.

Installation instructions are as follows.
#1. Make sure your rifle is unloaded and safe to handle
#2. Remove the rear sight blade of your rifle by drifting out the pin which holds it inside the rear sight base
#3. Remove the rear trunnion screw that attaches your stock to the rear of the rifle
#4. Install the front section of the mount into the rear sight base and lower the rear of the mount and align it with the trunnion screw hole
#5. Re-install the trunnion screw, set the front sight set screw and you are done.
