ASSAULT WEAPONS BAN IS JUST A SCAM

Since the federal law was passed in 1994 to ban the sale of so called "assault rifles" more and more research has come forward showing that this law has had no effect on gun related crime or violence as it was intended to eliminate. More interesting is the information coming out about the CDC (center for disease control), x-president clinton and other leftist groups who presented the case for the Assault Rifle ban with nothing but lies, twisted information and made up statistics. Even the name given to the ban reveals the deception that was used to implement such a law. Assault rifle by definition is "A weapon capable of shooting full automatic or having the capability of shooting selective fire. Select fire meaning the ability to select between firing in full automatic or burst. Burst meaning that for every one time the trigger is pulled 3-5 bullets shoot out". The strange thing is that the Assault-Rifle ban does not restrict any weapon capable of shooting Select fire, Burst or Full automatic. The true Assault Rifles is also known as a Machine Gun and these weapons have been heavily restricted by the Fedearl government and prohibited to civilians since the 1930's. The ban on Assault Rifles specifically targets guns which are semi-automatic in function. Semi-automatic requires the user to pull the trigger once for every shot possible making it impossible for anyone with a semi automatic rifle to ever come even close to the rate of fire which is accomplished by a true Military Assault rifle aka Machine Guns. (Military assault rifles generaly can shoot from 200-600 rounds per minute.) Semi automatic rifles do not have the capability to shoot burst, select fire or automatic and they cannot be easily altered to function in any other way besides semi-automatic. There is no semi-automatic gun on earth that can even come close to that rate of fire yet they labeled all these semi-automatic guns as "Assault-rifles". The politicians brain washed people to believe that they were actually banning machine guns and thus created a much more favorable atmosphere where they were able to pass the ban. The thought that any civilian could own a machine gun made many ignorant people terrified thinking about their neighbor or some street punk running around town shooting everyone in sight with a machine gun they purchased at their local gun store. The corrupt politicians used this fear to justify imposing a ban that was unconstitutional and founded on lies and deception. Let the turth be told, machine guns are not and have not been available for civilians to purchase for at least 70+ years now. Not one machine gun (aka Assault Rifle) has been banned by the Assault rifle ban. The ideas expressed in the ban in which the physical appearance of a firearm can dictate whether it is a Military or Sporting weapon is absolutely absurd. Cosmetic items which are addressed in the ban such as pistol grips can be used quite effectively to control a gun and stabalize your shooting position. This makes a great asset to have on a hunting or sporting rifle since you want to make sure you have the most stable shot when taking a buck or bear while hunting. This is also a good feature to have for shooting long distance at rifle marksmanship matches. Pistol grips are commonly found on many Olympic rifles and other tournament guns. Not to mention the whole purpose of using guns for sporting purposes is to be able to shoot as accuratley as possible. Think about it, why is shooting recognized as an Olympic sporting event? It's for just this reason - Accuracy. So why limit the ability for someone to accesorise their rifle to shoot more accurately and safely? Folding stocks are also named in the ban but in reality this is a common feature of survival rifles meant to be used in the backcountry and is extremly usefull to have on a rifle which is used while camping , hiking and backpacking due to the ability to facilitate storing and carrying the rifle while traveling over rugged terrain. Bayonet lugs are pretty useless to a hunter but to a collector of Military or antique firearms this is a piece of history. Not one civilian in the USA has ever been killed or even hurt by an assault rifle with a bayonet attached yet the law specifically bans weapons with this feature. Flash hiders are also banned yet the fact that flash hiders are one of the best ways to reduce a rifles recoil thus making shooting more accurate, safer and more fun, not to mention less painfull. Another deceptive trick also used by politicians (namely Democratic presidential hopefulls) are stories about how no hunter would ever use an assault rifle to go hunting. One politician in particular bragged about being an avid hunter and declaring that no hunter in his right mind would ever hunt with an Ak-47. True in a sense because the Ak-47 is a full automatic machine gun completely illegal to own or import ito the USA. However by relating the Ak-47 to the many Kalshnikov style "semi-automatic" rifles which are legaly available in the USA, this politician makes one believe that hunters are running around the mountain with hundred round magazines and full automatic weapons killing everything in sight. Let the truth be told, the Kalashnikov rifles available in the USA are legal semi-automatic rifles chambered for a .30 caliber cartridge which make an ideal hunting rifle. They are extremely dependable, easy to operate, safe to handle, light enough to carry on a long trip and they are definately accurate enough to use for hunting purposes. The .30 caliber cartridge is a perfect hunting round for deer and other medium size game and is so approved for hunting in most every state. Anyone who has evered applied for a hunting license will tell you the truth, it is illegal in most every state to use a rifle with a magazine that holds more than 5 rounds of ammuntion while hunting. Thus the false notion of deranged hunters running around the mountains with machine guns and hundreds of rounds of ammo quickly fades away when one sees the reality behind the lies. The truth behind this gun grabbing agenda is that politicians prey on the ignorance of people. By filling peoples minds with false ideas and notions that all the problems in this country are the fault of evil looking guns and that those who use guns must be killers, murderers and drug dealers these politicians have pushed their gun grabbing agenda down the throats of all America. The only obvious purpose behind their JIHAD against American gun ownership is that they are desperate to expand their political careers and influence even if it comes at the expense of our own rights and liberties. Just remember that rights can be easily taken away from you but once their gone, you can never get them back. These politicians who have been riding the Anti-Gun platform all these years are really two faced. What else would you call someone publicly denounces the use of guns as evil and perverse but in private they themselves use and own guns that have been classified as banned including "Assault Rifles" and pistols with high capacity magazines. Many of these Liberal anti-gun politicians have been issued Concealed Weapons Permits even in states like California where it is a near impossible to hold such a permit. All the while they are lecturing us on the evils of guns they themselves have their 9mm with high cap mags carefully concealed inside their blazer sports coat or inside their purse ready to use at a moments notice. They have the mentality that they are the elite group of politicians who are above the law. They want all the power taken away from the people so they can control you that much easier.

Let’s get more to the point. What is the true purpose of this legislation? Indeed if this ban has not caused any reduced violence or measurable decrease in crimes directly associated with the weapons that were banned then what purpose does this law serve but to restrict and eventually completely ban the lawful use of rifles and pistols by US Citizens and residents. The politicians who drafted this law purposely made it so extremely vague and broad that it would make illegal a huge portion of the legitimate US gun market. Therefore the manufacturers have been forced to re tool and re market entire lines of sporting rifles to make them politically correct and legal by the ban. A few select (or should I say chosen?) manufacturers like Ruger have benefited from this law but the vast majority of firearms companies have suffered. In most cases the changes in design resulted in no change in function of the rifles & pistols but the consequence was an extreme price inflation which the end consumer now had to budget. Add to this the ridiculous amounts of money that manufacturers have to pay their lawyers to constantly defend them against frivolous law suits which have plagued them over these past years. With one swift move the Anti-gun politicians excluded millions of lower to middle income Americans from purchasing a hi-quality gun for sporting purposes or self-defense. This economic discrimination excluded many people who could not afford to pay the inflated prices for these hi-quality American made guns. The result was a huge gap left in the US firearms marked for legal sporting rifles under the $500.00. In came the Chinese, Russians and other countries with their cheap, lo quality, mass produced AK, SKS and other similar rifles modified to make them Ban friendly. So now we have millions of dollars in exports leaving the USA and going to China to fund their slave labor camps and human cloning experiments that we will for sure one day soon regret. And also the Russians have made quite a bit of money from selling us both rifles, ammo and accessories to us. Their oldest rifles that are mostly obsolete get sold to US buyers (Check out any gun for sale magazine and you will get an idea of how many foreign guns have flooded our market) and then they take the money and invest it in new weapons technologies. Then they can sell these new weapons to terrorists or rogue nations who will one day use them against us. Just look at the vast majority of weaponry and arms caches found by our soldiers in Iraq. Modern night vision equipment, chemical suits, surface to air heat seeking missiles, machine guns, heavy anti tank weapons and explosives plus much more. Most all of these are Russian manufactured weapons and many of them recent production which means the Russians never obeyed the UN resolution forbidding sales of weapons to Iraq. Some weapons were found to be North Korean and Chinese origin but this is no surprise either. (The Germans and French also are guilty of selling weapons to Sadaam as recently as 2,003 against UN resolutions. That’s another story but remember the old saying, the enemy of your enemy is your friend) Seems like we're cutting our own thoats on this one. We should be very careful about who we consider allies and how we deal with these countries. Recently George Bush imposed a ban on Norinco imports and several other Chinese manufacturers who have been tied to human rights violations and also to selling weapons to terrorists. (click here to read about this) Sure some people can afford to buy a gun made in the USA but most hard working people can't justify spending upwards of $600.00 for a bare bones imitation AR-15 rifle or $1,000 + for a decent M-1A1 , M-1 Garand or other quality made gun. Even the popular Mini-14 is priced near $500.00 and is a decent gun but far too expensive for what it is. It appears that the assault rifle ban is not just hurting the firearms industry (which takes in billions every year) and the American economy but worst than that it also helps out those who would support our enemies. We are living in times of WAR regardless of what any liberal might tell you, remember that your best friend is that rifle you have stashed away for an emergency situation. If or should I say when the civilian population gets called up to duty as so many of our ancestors have in the past, I hope that there are enough patriots left who remember the reasons why our founding fathers gave us the Second amendment. In this war just like every other we have been involved in, it will be the patriot marksman who will lead us to victory over the enemy.

Maybe you grew with firearms as a part of your life and fond memories of hunting with your father and brothers fill the memories of your childhood, then you may have been lucky enough to have the benefit of experiencing the positive aspects of gun ownership. Or even if you have been brain washed to believe that guns are evil incarnate and you live your life as an anti-gun advocate who would never touched a firearm. We all must agree on one issue. The right to bear arms just like the freedom of speech and all our other liberties must be protected to the bitter end. These ideas an beliefs are what makes us Americans and we should appreciate everything which has been given to use on a silver platter by generations of hard working, tough fighting patriots because that is the essence of our country and this is what makes The United States of American the greatest country on Earth.

You are more likely get in a car accident, drown in a pool, drown in a bath-tub, get your head cutt of by a boat impeller, get attacked by a wild animal, die of carbon monoxide poisoning, or choke to death in your sleep than you are to be involved in a crime with one of the banned so called "Assault-Rifles".
